Course Visibility and Registration Questions

I pre-registered but I’m not seeing my courses on Blackboard for the upcoming term.

Blackboard courses become available to Students the day the semester begins. Your professor has the option to open up a Blackboard course prior to the start of the term, but this is not very common.

I just registered for a course and I don’t see it in Blackboard.

Blackboard enrollments are processed hourly. Your professor can enroll you into a course manually if there is time sensitive material that you need to access. Please contact your professor if this is the case.

I dropped a course and I’m still seeing it in Blackboard.

Dropped courses in Blackboard are processed each morning. If you dropped a course during the day, that course should disappear from Blackboard the following morning.

I can’t find any material inside one of my Blackboard courses.

If you can’t find any content inside a Blackboard course, the instructor of that course may not be using Blackboard. Please contact the instructor to verify.

My instructor said there was content on Blackboard but I can’t find it.

Please verify with your instructor that the material has been posted. If you still can’t see the material please contact the help desk at #4309 (609-652-4309).
